The OUTtv Ambassador program is extended to unique individuals, businesses and organizations within the Canadian gay and lesbian communities who embody OUTtv's commitment to celebrating queer diversity and media exposure of our lives and culture. We value their community involvement and dedication to their area of expertise. We offer each ambassador web and TV media coverage on OUTtv and www.outtv.ca
OUTtv Ambassadors from across Canada will be responsible for various opportunities such as promoting OUTtv at various events; creating web video profiles of significant people and events in their community; providing feedback on current shows and suggestions for future programs.
We are certain that forming and celebrating such relationships will ensure visibility and pride in our communities nation wide. We encourage our Ambassadors to test the limits of OUTtv's impact in their area and provide us feedback so we as a community can develop the world's first gay and lesbian TV station into the world's best gay and lesbian TV station in the World. We also engage our Ambassadors in all of our communications materials, like Pride and other cultural events, our websites and vignette programming. We provide tickets to passes at local events such as theatres, concerts etc.
If you, your business or organization is interested in being an OUTtv Ambassador, we invite you to contact us at ambassadors@outtv.ca.
Our Ambassadors signify their intent to be honour-bound by the following Standards of the OUTtv Ambassador Conduct and Ethics:
