Toronto’s Lila Kirtan band plays in T.O. Yoga Centre!
So my Yoga Babes with whom I have had the priviledge to train, teach, laugh, and play with are putting on a concert in Toronto. It’s ‘Kirtan’ music? What the heck is it? I don’t know, but they promise to share it all with us at an event they call:

The Roots of Kirtan

Learn the myths, meanings and symbols of kirtan chants.
Kirtan with Lila

Here, it all comestogether and the amazing music begins. Kirtan can be described as the yoga of song. It is great for those that love to sing or listen

Lila is a kirtan group made up of sisters Deena and Jess Robertson. They are excited to also be joined for the night by renowned musicians Kevan MacKenzie on percussion and Rebecca Foon on cello.special guest – Genevieve Walker (Krishna Das’ violinist)
