Lily Tomlin Joins Glenn Close on ‘Damages’
Want powerful, accomplished women portraying complex characters in stirring drama? Look no further than FX’s Damages. The cable series has twice been recognized by the Emmys for the stellar work of Glenn Close as a hard-hitting and hot high-stakes lawyer, Patricia Hewes.
For its third season Damages has added another unparalleled actress, Lily Tomlin. The out comedian, who is gorgeous at 70, will join the FX law drama as the matriarch of a powerful family. Along with her high-powered attorney, played by fellow comedy legend Martin Short, and her son, played by Campbell Scott, she’ll go up against Close’s all-powerful Hewes when the show returns in January.
