Cristiano Ronaldo Replaces Beckham in Armani Underwear
Has the long-reigning king of sexy soccer and fashion’s convergence finally been dethroned? After four straight seasons of lucrative loyalty to David Beckham, designer house Emporio Armani has asked rival Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo to be the official spokesmodel for its underwear.
Ronaldo will provide the “new worldwide testimonial” for the brand beginning with the spring-summer 2010 campaign. Hopefully his ads will rival Beckham’s stellar work as an underwear model.
