Chris Pine: Hottest Jack Ryan Yet?
Chris Pine, who’s best known for commanding as Capt. James T. Kirk in summer’s super hit Star Trek, may next reinvigorate the Ryan franchise. Jack Ryan, that is. It’s been widely reported that Pine may play the heroic CIA analyst, created by Tom Clancy, in a new series of films .
The script is still in the early stages of development, but Paramount, which also revamped Star Trek, is said to be eyeing the attractive new star who is currently filming a thriller directed by Tony Scott with Denzel Washington.
If Pine play Jack Ryan, he will be taking a hefty action role previously portrayed by Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, and Ben Affleck.
