On the eve of the 10th anniversary of Matthew Shephard’s death, a rally in London Ontario October 7th will take action on the gaybashing that has been plaguing the city for years, particularly during UWO homecomings.

This week is the Montreal book launch of I Like It Like That: True Stories of Gay Male Desire, published this fall by Arsenal Pulp Press. The event will feature readings by local contributors Daniel Allen Cox, Christopher DiRaddo and Mark Ambrose Harris, and Ottawa’s Nathan Burgoine.

Attendance was down at this past weekend’s annual gathering of The National Gay and Lesbian Journalist’s Association in Montreal, but morale was up. Full story at xtra.ca.
