While we’re all clamoring for Tegan & Sara’s latest and sure to be greatest album, sister Sara Quin has been busy lending her vocals to a sweet new Theophilus London song.

The first single of his Lovers Holiday EP, “Why Even Try,” features Sara’s signature sexy sound on the Prince-like number.

Fear not, Tegan & Sara devotees, Tegan posted a link to the new music on Twitter with the message: “sara is going to write a new record..right after she stops being a superstar…”

Just when you thought it was safe to return to reality TV watching, Logo announces another season of ‘docu-drama series’ The A-List.

The press release reads like a gay ken doll’s dream diary entry of melodrama:

“Pop the champagne, touch up your spray tan and pick a cute outfit, Logo’s much talked-about docu-reality series “The A-List: New York” is returning for a second season beginning in the fall, 2011… The new season will pick up where the volatile first season left off, following provocative storylines like Reichen and Rodiney‘s relationship, Austin’s attempts to stir the pot and Ryan and his partner’s struggle to adopt a child.”

High quality drama like this season 1 gem:

A-List? More like A-hole List…

Two of Hollywood’s  favorite hunks, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, make superhero-sized splashes this week with new images from the filming of Captain America and Thor.

The photos of Evans offer the first glimpse of the hero in action and the clearest look at the Captain’s patriotic costume yet.

In the new Thor shot, Hemsworth fumes as the mighty God of Thunder and could be drawing back his powerful Mjolnir.

Fans will have to wait until July 22 for Captain America: The First Avenger to hit theaters but Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh and costarring Natalie Portman bows May 6.

One more fine looking actor, Josh Lucas, joins Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar, starring Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role.

We were already salivating over the idea of Social Network cutie Armie Hammer playing Hoover’s secret lover when thoughts of Gossip Girl’s sexy Ed Westwick send us over the edge.

Now Deadline.com adds dishy Josh Lucas to the mix of this already tasty ensemble drama.

We’ll have to wait until 2012 to see the fruits of their labor.

The smoldering hot Social Network star and next web-slinging Spider-Man himself still can’t believe his own success.

Arresting actor Andrew Garfield tells Details magazine in a cover interview, “I was genuinely expecting ‘You’re just a shit actor’ instead of ‘We want you to do it,” after hours of screen testing for director Marc Webb.

But the intoxicating actor won the role of the masked hero. Thanks in no small part to the way he exudes “both vulnerability and masculinity all at once, which is very rare,” Sony execs point out.

Oscars’ charming host Anne Hathaway and controversial super rapper Kanye West are both preparing to play gay characters in upcoming projects.

Hathaway’s Glee dreams will come true when she appears on the Golden Globe best comedy awarded show as a LGBT relation (in RL, Anne’s brother is out) to gay teen Kurt (Chris Colfer). “She’s already created [her role],” said Glee head honcho Ryan Murphy. “She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt.” Any chance she might find some romance with a character on the show? What’s the Ex-Mrs. Schuester up to?

In other gay character casting news, MC West is rumored to have scored his first major acting role as a member of a gay jazz band in 1939. The part is said to include a sex scene and big name producers such as Will Smith, Jay-Z and Oprah. Kanye is still definitely not a gay fish, though.

J. Edgar, the intriguing period drama about the true secrets of FBI founder J. Edgar Hoover, adds another hot actor to its roster with Gossip Girl sexpot Ed Westwick.

The Brit best known for playing Chuck Bass will portray Agent Smith, “a clean cut operative with writing skill” whom Hoover solicits to pen his biography. But Hoover’s plans for him soon change as Smith gets too close to the real truth.

As Gay.com previously reported, Leonardo DiCaprio will star as Hoover in the Clint Eastwood directed film. The Social Network‘s Armie Hammer is excited to play his secret lover and confidante, Clyde Tolson.

Longtime partners Elton John and David Furnish released dual magazine covers featuring their brand new baby, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.

With both UK and US covers, Christmas baby Zach snoozes peacefully in proud papa John’s arms in the similar shots.

Elton gushes of his sons’ birth: “I’ve never felt anything like it in my life. You’re so awestruck. What can you say? You take it in. The feeling, the joy, the warmth of his body, his breathing…I will never forget that experience ever.”

The family is still following up on their bid to adopt young Ukrainian brothers, one of whom is HIV-positive, after being denied because they are gay.

That Johnny Depp does things his own way, luckily.

Everybody loves seeing him star as Captain Jack Sparrow in the obscenely successful Disney Pirates of the Caribbean films but he recently revealed studio exec’s at the ‘house of mouse’ were more that a little wary of Depp’s flamboyant performance.

“They couldn’t stand him,” Depp told Vanity Fair of his Capt. Jack. “They just couldn’t stand him. I think it was Michael Eisner, the head of Disney at the time, who was quoted as saying, ‘He’s ruining the movie.’ Upper-echelon Disney-ites, going, What’s wrong with him? Is he, you know, like some kind of weird simpleton? Is he drunk? By the way, is he gay?… And so I actually told this woman who was the Disney-ite… ‘But didn’t you know that all my characters are gay?’ Which really made her nervous.”

So, add this to the list of Chris Colfer’s growing talents: along with his great singing, acting, and secret ninja skills, the out Glee star is also a successful screenwriter.

Colfer has sold a screenplay entitled Struck by Lightning. He will also star in the film. The young out actor partners with Youth in Revolt producer David Permut for the story described as a coming-of-age, John Hughes style comedy.

If all goes according to plan, Chris will film Struck in summer 2011 over Glee’s hiatus.

This December marks the ten-year anniversary of Queer As Folk, the game-changing gay television series that concluded in 2005.

The Showtime remake of the BBC hit followed the lives and loves of gay Pittsburgh pals featured hilarious mishaps, super graphic sex scenes, and a whole lot of real heart.

He also played Teri Hatcher’s love interest on ‘Desperate Housewives,’ until a serious motorcycle accident derailed what was scheduled to be a more pivotal role, and currently, he plays law professor Julian Parrish on The CW series ‘Hellcats.’

Sweet Justin — Michael’s mom calls him “Sunshine” for his ever-present smile and cheery outlook — slept with and fell in love with Brian during Justin’s senior year of high school, and their on-again, off-again relationship, as well as the very talented Justin’s art pursuits, marked most of his time on the show. Post-’QAF,’ which was his first TV role, Harrison starred in the made-for-TV movie adaptation of the play ‘Bang Bang You’re Dead,’ about school bullying, and has been very active in New York theater, including playing Boq in ‘Wicked.’ He also appeared earlier this year at a ‘Queer As Folk’/'The L Word’ convention in Paris.

Brian’s BFF since they were kids, Michael also not-so-secretly is in love with Brian, who values their friendship too much to date Michael. Michael, a retail manager who eventually realizes his dream of opening his own comic book shop, also eventually collaborates on a comic with Justin, and marries boyfriend Ben, with whom he adopts teenage Hunter. Sparks, a comedian who was best known as the post-Greg Kinnear and John Henson host of E!’s ‘Talk Soup’ before ‘Queer as Folk,’ followed his dramatic role with several reality TV appearances. He hosted The WB kids game show ‘Survival of the Richest,’ was a contestant himself on ‘Celebrity Duets’ and ‘Celebracadabra,’ and played himself in the video for Fall Out Boy’s cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It.’ He also starred in a Showtime stand up special, ‘Hal Sparks: Charmageddon,’ earlier this year, is a member of the rock band Zero1 and interacts with fans via Twitter and his official Website.

The 83rd annual Academy Awards ceremony will be hosted by ultra crush-worthy James Franco and the lovely Anne Hathaway.

Both are multitalented, celebrated young actors who have attended the Oscars before. Hathaway was nominated in 2008 and appeared in Hugh Jackman’s opening number when he hosted the affair.

Oscar telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer boasted, “James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons – fresh, exciting and multi-talented. Already promised as playing the shirtless sex object next door, James Marsden’s character is “also Mitchell’s Reiki practitioner” which accounts for the lucky rubdown he’s receiving.

”James is hilarious,” says Ferguson (pictured lying down).”Believe me, he would not have been in Mitchell and Cam’s hot tub if he wasn’t funny — okay, funny and hot.”

Alicia Keys charity Keep a Child Alive has some of the biggest celebrities in the world announcing their death online by going digitally dark on Twitter and Facebook until they raise $1 million on World AIDS Day, December 1st.

Superstars such as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Seacrest, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Hudson and Serena Williams will all remain silent on their normally active social media outlets until fans donate to the charity Buy Life in order to buy back their online presence. Fans can text the first name of the celebrity they are mourning to 90999 and $10 will instantly be donated to the cause.

“It’s so important to shock you to the point of waking up,” singer Keys told The Associated Press. “It’s not that people don’t care or it’s not that people don’t want to do something, it’s that they never thought of it quite like that. … This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic, you know, of a way to get people to pay attention.”

Out and proud newlywed Jane Lynch will host Fox’s Holiday special with a special look back at T.V.’s most memorable Holiday episodes.

TVGuide.com confirms the Glee star will emcee, TV’s Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special. Soccer star and sex symbol David Beckham is bringing his own line of men’s underwear to stores soon.
MTV UK sites that “sales of Armani briefs are said to have risen by 30% while he was the face, or body, of the luxury label” so capitalizing on Beckham’s power in this particular market seemed like the next step. Becks opted not to renew his contract as the spokesmen for Armani’s men’s intimates.

The new Muppet movie just became even more alluring.

As he crosses the milestone of his 30th birthday, Pine admits he’s, “more cerebral than I want to be,” he says. “Sometimes I think I need to get crazy. Go to Vegas. Do some drugs. Get some hookers. Gamble it all away. And it never happens. I usually just end up at home on my couch—reading.”

Sci-fi super producer J.J. Abrams pinpoints Pine’s allure that led him to cast the actor as Captain Kirk in the sexy new Star Trek films. “Once I saw him in person, it was clear he had it: Confidence. Vulnerability. Athleticism. Fearlessness. And a willingness to look uncool,” Abrams articulates. “That makes him the coolest guy in the room.”
