In life we as humans seem to be living from our past or worrying about what’s going to happen tomorrow. We want, want, want and take, take, take. In Western civilization, or at least that’s what we call it. We live in a world that is always waiting for the next thing, a world of materialism, overuse, demanding that we deserve more, that we have access to more, faster and for less and less. We have literally threw our own egos and greed begun to destroy our planet and for what?

So that you could have a faster, bigger car? A bigger house? Greener grass? Faster Food? And on and on…

You get the picture.

And we call ourselves Masters?

My question to you is…

Who are the real Masters? Is it us, who claim to be the supreme beings or is it our Pets to which we claim to  be the Master of?

In my opinion is the other way around. Our Pets are our Masters.
There is much to learn from your pet. About being in the moment, about unconditional love, about appreciation, about peace and so on…

This afternoon I took a beautiful walk with my two dogs Anderson (3) and Oliver (2) along the shores of Lake Ontario and this time I decided to stop thinking about what it is that I was going to do next, or what I had to accomplish today and really took the time to pay close attention to my furry friends an d what I observed was amazing.

I watched as they splashed through the waves as if it was their first time. I watched as they kept looking back to see if I was coming. I watched their souls light up as they brought me back a stick they had found in the water and I watched them explore everything like it was all new to them; Smelling the flowers, tasting the water and so on.

So you see my friends there is much to learn from our pets about life. About being in the moment and about taking time to…

Stop and smell the Flowers!

So do yourself a favor today. Give your Pet a BIG HUG for they are our true spiritual teachers.

“It’s none of your business what anyone thinks of you”, Love Who You are With Pride!

A bold statement I know but a very true statement. A statement that I have begun to truly live my life by, because why would it be your business what anyone else thinks of you?

We spend our whole lives worrying about what others think. It affects our whole reality from what we wear to what we say and even sometimes what we choose to do with our lives in regards to education or even employment.

But doesn’t this sound CRAZY to you! Running your life on what others think. Isn’t it setting yourself up for failure or even more letting someone else dictate how your life is going to be or how you will feel about yourself?

Crazy I Say! But yet I too have been guilty of this my whole life. I remember being a kid and going to school terrified of what others would think “Does my hair look right?”, “Am I wearing the right cloths?”, “Do I look Cool?” Hell Yah! I looked amazing, I felt amazing and I always woke up with a great big smile waiting to greet the world with my whole hearted approach to life, until….

Until I basically had the heart beaten out of me. There was someone always waiting to tell me how I looked like a geek or I acted like a faggot, or how I should have been a girl and as an innocent child, who just wanted to fit in or to be loved and see the good in everyone. I made it my business what others thought of me. I let it in, I let it destroy who I was, and I started trying to conform to what others wanted me to be and continued to do it on whatever level until recently and now that I think about it this was absolutely crazy. How could I possibly be what everyone else wanted me to be when each person had a different ideal of what that was?

In reality it was only possible to be me!

We all have a story, some extreme and some not so extreme but each and every one of us has been effected in some way or another by making it our business what others think of us.

I am here to tell you that “It is none of your business what others think of you”.

You are a unique beautiful being and everything that is you is amazing. Everything you are is perfect and everything you have to offer is a gift to the universe. Let’s bring our life’s focus back to being us. Let’s shine for who we truly are. You are God’s gift to the universe and after all God made everything perfect including you.

So do yourself a favor today and start living life for you….keep shining and remember…

Life brings with it so much opportunity, so many directions and so many interesting people. But which opportunity, direction or person do you choose? How do you know? When is the right time to do the right thing, to make that decision to choose passion over your current situation which may be very comfortable and provide you with the means to survive financially? What do we choose, how do we choose it and when do we know?

I believe that we all inherently know the answers. That from the time we are a small child we are aware of the real us, we are aware of what we like, what we dislike and exactly what we want to do and where we want to do it. But somewhere along the line we lost our sense of self. We were told “you can’t”, “what would others think”, “you would be moving away from your family”, “your too short”, “where are you going to get the money”, “there are no jobs doing that” and on and on. We are all on some level or another aware of the excuses and roadblocks that are put before us not only by families, teachers and peers but by ourselves.

I’m going to tell you something. Something that you have always been aware of, something that will unleash your inner soul or life’s calling.

You my friend are the only one standing in front of you. You are the only one in the way from where you are to where you want to be.

I encourage you all to find your passion, bring in back into your life no matter what. Make a list of the wonderful things in life that your love to do, that you enjoy, that give you butterflies and unleash that child like feeling of utter bliss and find a way to get paid to do it.

When you find your passion maintain focus, write it down, repeat it to yourself several times a day and only take on tasks or jobs that are in alignment with your purpose. A lot of times in life people are easily drawn away from passion by the flash of money. But remember money is energy and when you follow your true passion the inherent and final reward will include money but it will also include passion, love, joy and total bliss.

Remember the life you are looking for is not outside yourself. It comes from within; you were born with it and have spent your life searching for it outside yourself when it was really always there to begin with.

Follow your passion, unleash your ultimate life and stick to it!

My journey to Celebrate Your Life Chicago began several months ago when I so gracefully came into contact with Liz Dawn, the founder and organizer of this amazing event. Liz and I connected immediately, like we had known each other for an eternity. We share a similar journey and dreams and I was ecstatic to join her in Chicago for the event and work with her to spread the message to the masses.

It was 7:30 PM Thursday and I was meeting my good friend and co-founder of the upcoming Soul Searchers TV http://www.soulsearcherstv.com Yvette Murray at Toronto Pearson airport. My whole entire body was filled with tingly feelings of excitement and I couldn’t wait to see Yvette so we could be on our way and Yeah!!!! There she was, looking as fabulous and full of life as ever. I love that I have such amazing friends in my life, it is truly a blessing!

So we board our plane taking flight to Chicago to attend Celebrate Your Life http://www.celebrateyourlife.org . It was a quick flight but with much turbulence, which made my stomach a bit upset, but nothing was going to take away the excitement I had in anticipation of such an amazing weekend. We landed and rushed off the plane to retrieve our luggage and catch our limo to the Westin Lombard Hotel where the event was to be held. Then I hear a voice behind me “I heard you talking about Neale Donald Walsch http://www.nealedonaldwalsch.com back at the Toronto airport and I was wondering if you are going to Celebrate Your Life” my face lit up with love and light I gave her a big hug and said “Absolutely” ,This amazing lady, Heather was her name, for some reason I kept calling her Mary, traveled all the way from Yellow Knife, Yukon to attend this event. All I had to say was “Wow”

So the three of us Yvette, Heather and I decided to share our limo since we were all going to the same place. We all jump in the limo and to our surprise our driver was an Angel!!!! Well Angela was her name but she was an absolute Angel. We were completely in alignment with each other. This was just the beginning of our journey! What foreshadowing for the absolutely amazing weekend we were to experience.

Yvette, Heather and I arrived at the hotel for the night and were ready to rise and shine early for a full day workshop with James Van Praagh http://www.vanpraagh.com international renowned Medium and Producer of the Hit CBS series Ghost Whisper http://www.cbs.com/primetime/ghost_whisperer . Little did I know what I truly moving day this would be. James helped me to move spiritual mountains within myself and open up the endless possibilities of what I and everyone else on this planet are capable of. My goal for this workshop was to develop my own intuition but that was far surpassed when through a very powerful meditation and connection with my workshop partner I was able to truly connect with spirit and actually did a reading that was 100% correct. I spoke information about this lady, who I had met for the first time in my life ,that absolutely no one could have ever known.

Imagine that! The Whole time I was a skeptic but after that it truly opened up my mind to the unlimited possibilities of life. My suggestion: Don’t be a skeptic or fear anything, open up your heart, soul and mind to the limitless possibilities of life. I had spent one day at the conference and already my life was completely changed. I felt lighter, happier and full of so much joy!

Wow there is so much to share with you and I am so excited to pass my experience and excitement on to you so this is definitely going to be long but I guarantee you that it will be worth it! LOL!

The weekend continued to be an absolutely amazing event. We met up with the VividLife Team http://www.vividlife.me , Rose-Anne, John, Darcelle, Mary and Alison from Creo Mundi http://www.creomundi.com , who by the way was recently featured in Time Magazine….whooo! hooooo!!! They all traveled from Toronto, Canada as well. We were also surprise to meet up with people who travelled from Australia, Sweden and England. All I can say is congratulations Liz Dawn you are truly inspiring the world!

Throughout the weekend I was truly inspired by the absolutely amazing workshops and presenters that I attended. I seen Carolyn Myss http://www.myss.com, an amazing energy healer for the first time and was truly inspired to start exploring the field of energy healers. I seen Dr. Bruce Lipton http://www.brucelipton.com , author of The Biology of Belief and one of the most intelligent men on the face of the earth who has changed science and myself forever and opened me up to the power that your thoughts really do control everything about you on every level. You can truly heal your own life! You can hear an interview with Dr. Bruce Lipton with host Rose Anne Kumpunen on VividLife Radio http://www.vividliferadio.com . Saturday evening ended with a keynote presentation and readings by James Van Praagh http://www.vanpraagh.com which was a truly enlightening experience and tapped me into the power of the mind and meditation but also moved many people as they were given the opportunity to connect with relatives on the other side.

Oh and for those of you who think I am weird! I am, and I embrace my weirdness, spirituality and love of life and am truly excited to pass this energy along to you so that you too can embrace the power that is you and unleash your ultimate life potential!

After Saturday night’s keynote presentation Yvette, Heather and I decided to go for a glass of wine at the Hotel Lounge and found ourselves histarically laughing the night away just letting go of the past, not worrying about the future and embracing all the fun within us till the wee hours of the morning.

And again we missed the morning workshops……..lol!

But I did manage to catch Dr. Joe Dispenza’s http://www.drjoedispenza.com workshop who is the bestselling author of Evolve Your Brain, The Science of Changing Your Mind and was also seen in the popular film What The Bleep and teaches about how our thoughts affect our brain chemistry and how to break old patterns. This workshop I have to say was surprisingly one of my favorites. It actually brought me to tears. This workshop actually gave me what you could call a quantum wake-up. It 100% clicked that we chose through our own thoughts everything and every situation that happened to us in our life and that through our thoughts we can change and create anything we want. If you’re not into reading pick up the book on CD and listen to it in your car. It will truly transform your life.

Wow! I’m sitting here with so much going through my mind, with so much more to tell you about but I couldn’t possibly put it all in this blog……….I think I could write an entire book! Sunday morning I had the great pleasure for the first time to attend John Holland’s, http://www.johnholland.com seminar author of Power of the Soul. He is such a sweet heart and one of the most amazing Psychic Mediums I have ever seen.

Well my friends it was drawing near to the closing of Celebrate Your Life and emotions were high but in an amazing way. I have never felt so cleansed, so enlightened, so powerful and by the energy I could feel all around me absolutely everyone around me felt the same. Yvette and I said good bye to Alison, Rose Anne, John, Darcelle and Mary as they had a long journey back to Toronto but Yvette and I weren’t finished yet. We were about to attend the closing ceremony with keynote speaker Dr. Robert Holden http://www.happiness.co.uk Oprah’s favorite expert on Happiness and the founder of The Happiness Project and bestselling author of Happy Now. This man was absolutely amazing, a glass act British delight who used his good looks, charm and witty British humor to powerfully enlighten every person in that room and to pass on the message that the search for happiness is never ending and to be HAPPY Right Here Right Now!

Dr. Robert Holden also introduced me and the masses to Shawn Gallaway http://www.shawngallaway.com who came on stage for a powerful performance of his song “I Choose Love” (listen here I Choose Love or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMOMgQCRAqM ) which hit me and everyone else in the heart and finalized the event with the most amazing energy that I have ever felt in my life!

Practice a Compassionate Life!

“Feel the pain of others. Understand their strengths and disappointments their hardships and inadequacies and open your heart to them. Realize that everyone is doing the best they possibly can. Judge no one. But rather, cradle all humanity in your heart.”

My Friends,

One of the most important things I have practiced in my life is Compassion. Compassion for every person I meet, from a street person begging for money to a wealthy person who lacks happiness. My philosophy is that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have.

It is our responsibility as spiritual, positive beings to practice Compassion for everyone. Understand that like you and I everyone has a different story, not everyone deals with things the same way and not everyone has an open heart and that we must not make assumptions based on race, sexuality, religion or whatever difference one might have but embrace our differences for we are more alike then you may believe.

We need to be examples, we need to be the person to, as Ghandi once said “Be the change we want to see in the world”

So today when you see that person begging for money give them a dollar, tell them they are beautiful. When you see that wealthy person getting out of their fancy new car with a grumpy look on their face, say hello and tell them they look wonderful and watch their eyes sparkle with appreciation.

We must never make assumptions and always be compassionate because as my mother use to say “never judge a person till you’ve walked a mile in their shoes”

Ok as most of you know me I am always pumped up, full of energy and on cloud nine the majority of the time. I love to embrace life with the most positive and amazing attitude and embrace everything to its full potential and experience. However; sometimes I get sad, real sad and I want all of you to know that it is ok to be sad sometimes.

Sadness is just another feeling. A feeling that we should embrace, let in, feel, analyze and then release it back to the universe.

Right now I am sad. Why you ask? The answer I wasn’t even sure of myself until just before I started to write. I woke up this morning like every other morning with the sun shining, the birds chirping and a great big friendly kiss from my dog Oliver. This morning something was different, I had this gut feeling of sadness that I couldn’t shake and I was determined to find out why.

The answer my friends…

We cannot always be superman. We cannot always be the person who lifts up everyone else. Sometimes we really need to take time for ourselves, to embrace our selves, to do what we want to do, to be who we want and most importantly to take time out to feel and experience our own feelings.

It has almost been a year since I lost my amazing friend and Cousin Kim and as I look back and reflect I really miss her. I feel the pain, I feel the loss and most importantly I mourn the amazing relationship, the Aha moments and the wonderful road trips we spent together laughing and reflecting on life’s purpose.

Then I truly have an Aha moment myself. I miss her that is why I am sad. I miss that she was my cheerleading squad. I miss that she was there to put things into perspective for me when I had too much going on in my head to be clear. I missed our talks about how the world goes round. I miss the fact that she was the one person who was open to all lives messages, experiences and always told me not to take life so seriously.

She gave me the greatest advice that I could ever pass on to anyone of you and that is…
 
“Always remember you are human, feel your feelings both happy and sad, be free as a bird and most of all just experience everything life has offered because you never know what tomorrow will bring.”

Well Kim, tomorrow has brought me so many wonderful experiences, so much opportunity and so many wonderful people but most of all Kim tomorrow has taught me that you never know if tomorrow is going to come. So today I release my sadness knowing that you are always here with me, to love me, to guide me and most importantly you are still my cheerleader and are right behind me whispering…

Have you ever had an idea, a plan or just wanted to do something that you felt you couldn’t. Do you feel like you cannot accomplish your goal alone or maybe just feel it would be more fun and exciting if you had someone else to share it?

I had that feeling once. I felt so alone. I use to sit alone in my room so full of inspiration and the most creative ideas. Ideas that I knew if were put into fruition would be huge. Not only huge but would be projects where people were working together in their experts fields in harmony. At that time I had no one to share my amazing ideas with and felt because it was only me that I couldn’t accomplish.

We have all worked for employers or are currently working for employers and are well aware that most employers today treat us as a number. We go to work punch in, do whatever we are assigned and then check out. We separate our work from our lives. We work as an individual or “me against the corporate world”. There is no ownership, no team effort and most importantly no “togetherness.”

As a society today I feel that we lack a basic human characteristic and that is the power of “togetherness”. We forgot somewhere along our journey that we are all one. All cut from the same mold, or created from the same source.  We are not separate from each other, we are not in competition with each other and we all have individual strengths that if nurtured and used to work together as a team could accomplish the world, our dreams and maybe actually fulfill that thing that we all seem to be searching for called Happiness!

Well my friends I figured this out at a very young age but for some reason through my life’s journey had never found a group of people who felt the same. Everyone’s attitude was “me, me, and me”. No one was interested in entertaining the idea of “togetherness” because;  Why would they help me? What would they get from it? If they helped me that would take the spotlight off of them and perhaps keep them from getting that promotion that they have been searching for and when they get it will realize that it wasn’t quite what they were expecting. Believe me, I have been there.

I chose not to be part of this team. I chose not to belong to these groups of egotistical humans whose main purpose is to step on others and use them and their skill set to raise themselves above others. It always made me feel sad that people spent their time trying to step on others or one up them to get a head or what they thought was a head anyway.

NEWS FLASH!

We are not above anyone. We are all equal. We are all born with the same opportunity in life, regardless of where we are born, the colour of our skin, our sexual preference, our social background etc. It is our responsibility as human’s beings to work together as a team. To lift each other up and to work together to achieve a brighter future, for love, for peace, for happiness, for joy and for prosperity.

Our team a VividLife – www.vividlife.me  is a pure example of what the power of working together can accomplish. We come from all different walks of life and backgrounds but all bring our unique strengths and expertise to the team and together we are moving mountains.

It is such a beautiful day today! The sun is shining, it’s warm, people are smiling and the little creatures are chasing each other around with such playful fun. Full of love, life and most of all Fun. That’s the key!

Since I have been a little boy I have always been so full of love, life, laughter and Fun! If it isnt fun, what’s the point?

As I started to “Grow Up” things seemed to become less fun and more work. I had to get up when I didn’t want to, do things I didn’t want to and above all work on someone elses timeclock, rules and direction. My life began to be controled by others; Parents, Teachers, Employers etc. These people began to burden me with their thoughts, baggage and negative, limiting perceptions of the and above all told me what was best for me.

How did they know? How does anyone else really know what’s best for you?

They Don’t

They totally took away my “Fun Factor” and made everything strict, conservative, boring and without life. Everything that I learned from them made me fear.

I am sure I don’t have to tell you but fear isnt fun. Actually it’s the opposite of fun. It takes away the very essence of Life which is Love, Happiness & Fun. It fills your heart and mind with anxiety, doubt and the feeling that we can’t be free to be ourselfs and live by my biggest philosiphy…

FUN FACTOR!!!

My friend! If right now you are living a life of fear, doubt, anxiety etc. You are no doubt in the wrong place. Doing the wrong thing. If everything you do in life is hard, doesn’t feel right or makes you sad. SNAP OUT OF IT!

Life is all fun!

Life is about the experience, having fun, loving who you are, what you do and everyone you do it with. If what you are doing right now isnt that then ask yourself why? Why do I do this? What am I getting from it? If the answer is nothing or I would really rather be doing something else then my friend …

Through the last few months of my life I have learned so much. I guess you could use the widely used term that I have “awakened” or in other terms I have begun to remember what life is, what it is about and that everything is life is about the experience and what an amazing experience it has been.

As some of you may know from my previous writings life wasn’t easy for Shayne. I have been through many tribulations and through these tribulations have come my greatest triumphs. The triumph that I am an amazing spiritual being with the very essence of life at my finger tips. What I have been “awakened” to is that it has always been here and I have always had the power to heal my own life.

Until about six months ago I had never read a book. I got through public school, high school and even college without reading one book, imagine that…lol. Since then I have read over six books and absolutely amazing books at that. These books are what “awakened” me – The Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz – Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life, Dr.Wayne Dyer – The Power of Now and A New Earth, Eckhart Tollee – Your Can Heal Your Life, Louise L. Hay – Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch – through these books I discovered what I already inherently knew. My thoughts control my patterns, my patterns control my life, that everything is healed through love, that our creator – God – created everything with beauty, love and absolute perfection and that everything in life is about the experience. Then like magic, poof! It’s the NEW ME! I decide what my life is, what it is going to be and how I experience it.

So next time you tell yourself that “I can’t do it”, remind yourself that you, like every other human being on this earth, have been given the same opportunity at birth and that as soon as you get out of your own way.

I  am very excited to announce that there is another opportunity to attend an absolutely amazing weekend event coming up in June!!  Join me as I travel to Chicago (a mere 2 hour flight) for the Celebrate Your Life conference on June 5 – 7, 2009.

After returning from my last conference experience in Toronto, I began to scout out other similar and inspiring events.  I found the Celebrate Your Life conference which is produced by Mishka Productions.  This incredibly amazing company was founded in 1995 by Ariel Wolfe and her daughter Liz Dawn.  Together, the two women, now joined by another daughter Jaime, have been organizing events that assist in changing and shifting the consciousness of the planet to a more uplifting, inspired and loving world.  What an amazing mission!

This event is filled with powerful life-changing workshops with some of the world’s top best selling authors in the spiritual, personal growth and self help arenas.  It seems that people who attend Celebrate Your Life travel from all over the world to participate.

As I sit here at my desk thinking about the “old me”, or in other words the “me” before I discovered that I was literally in my own way – by in my own way I mean I was the only one ever standing in the way of my life’s purpose or Dharma.

Every time I was asked what I wanted to do, I was ridden with total anxiety and fear. I had extremely low self esteem and was dealing with a deep depression. I thought that where I came from or my past limited my future potential or made me unworthy of being “successful”. I didn’t deserve anything more then what I already had! “I didn’t belong in this society”, or so I was told.

I was a Victim!

A victim of sexual, physical and mental abuse, a child who grew up believing that because I didn’t fit in, or as a friend of mine Jennifer Hough calls it “A Member of the Not Belonging Club” I felt that my opportunities in life were limited ,that my past predicted my future. Who’s going to hire a gay guy that came from a poor family with all of this baggage?

My friends I let this go on for far too long and it wasn’t until I literally fell upon my current life partner Timm and a group of absolutely amazing spiritual friends that I realized. “I am capable of absolutely anything” That just like you I was born in a world full of opportunity and absolutely amazing choices and that I am 100% responsible for and can achieve absolutely anything that I put my heart in. This is our God given Gift!

Dan Caro was born in Metairie, La. on November Sixteenth, 1979.
At the age of two, an unthinkable event would change his life forever. While in the family garage, the pilot light of a hot water heater ignited gasoline fumes and Dan sustained third degree burns to over seventy percent of his body. After being rescued by local firefighters, he was rushed to New Orleans Charity Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. While in ICU, a Shriner from the Jerusalem Temple in New Orleans, La. contacted Dan’s parents and told them about the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Immediately, Dan was transported by medivac to the Shriners Burns Hospital in Boston, Ma. where he would undergo many reconstructive surgeries and other treatments throughout his childhood.
Ultimately, as a result of the burn injuries, Dan lost his right hand, most of his left hand and is severely scarred. In the mid 1980s, reconstructive surgery that would give Dan the use of a moveable thumb was performed on his left hand. Since then, Dan has been living life to the fullest in the face of his adversity. His relentless attitude and resiliency would consistently prove that nothing is impossible; including his lifelong dream of becoming a musician. Dan, at the age of twelve, began drumming in spite of his loss of fingers. He plays by using the left thumb to grip one drum stick, with the other drum stick attached to his right wrist by a wrist band and rubber bands. With this simple device and an undying passion for music, Dan has become a very respected drummer in the New Orleans area. His unique personal style and musicianship has
landed him countless gigs with some of the world’s greatest performers such as Ashish Khan, Michael Ray, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Karl Denson, Marshall Allen and Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey.
In addition to music, Dan is an Ambassador for the Shriners of North America. He is a professional speaker who shares stories of fulfillment and achievement; A prime example of bravery and courage.

This weekend I had the most amazing opportunity of my journey so far. I was given the opportunity to meet and speak with the top Spiritual or “New Age” Guru’s of our time: Dr. Wayne Dyer, Sylvia Brown, Colette Baron-Reid, John Holland and Gregg Braden at the Hay House produced I Can Do It , Toronto conference held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

This was, to date, the most uplifting emotional and spiritual event I have ever experienced.  As I sit here at my desk writing this now I have tears of joy and a rushing feeling of utter gratitude and love. I have not long been on my journey of personal and spiritual discovery and already I had the opportunity to listen to, experience and meet the Spiritual Guru’s of our time.

4:30 PM Thursday

I had just finished a long day at work but I was filled with the energy and excitement that usually one has when they had just had the most amazing nights sleep. My first mission was to attend the evening event at the conference centre where I was to hear Colette Baron-Reid , a Psychic Intuitive and Sylvia Brown, the worlds top Psychic speak. I myself have never read, or seen either of them on TV, heard them speak or read any of their literature but still I was filled with excitement for what I was to experience. After all these are the greatest Psychics of our time.

I arrived just in time for the event to start and as to my surprise my good friend Yvette Murray, producer of the Holistic World Expo had saved the most amazing seats. Colette came out to a roaring crowd, a strikingly beautiful woman, who I later found out was actually from Toronto. The crowd loved Collette and so did I. She had an amazing personality like a god friend you had known forever. Colette is a unique Intuitive Psychic; she speaks to animals and what an amazing job she does. Every person Colette read from the crowd was bang on. As she said to me later that evening in an interview “My Dharma or purpose in life is to make spiritual healing entertaining”. After Colette was off stage I had the opportunity to sit down and speak with her about her personal journey and low and behold she brought along a personal friend and world renowned Psychic, John Holland. Oh my God was this weekend ending up to be such an amazing journey and believe me my friends it just kept getting better.

So I sit down with the two of them, meaning Colette and John. It was like we had been friends for a life time. The energy that radiated from these two was absolutely amazing. They were loving; they were touching and had the most humorous, entertaining way of approaching everything that it made it a truly playful experience to interview them.

As an interviewer I like to keep it light and simple. I got right to the point. I already knew they were Psychic and that I could ask them any question pertaining to my future that I wanted. That didn’t interest me. I wanted to hear from two of the most powerful, Intuitive Psychics on the planet what they believed their purpose was, what their message for us soul seekers was and what above all gave them the most comfort. To me theses are three of the most important, heartfelt questions I could have asked; and their answers, just as simple and heart felt. “Stop taking yourself so seriously and eat cookies” says Colette, LOL! “What brings me the most comfort on earth is lying in bed with my husband and dogs, and knowing no matter what is going on, that there is love”.

Now John had a different but similar answer. “ My purpose is to be and teach others to be the best that we can be and to use our abilities, talents and gifts to help each other” and on that note it was time to go see Sylvia Brown and get into exactly what this whole I Can Do It weekend conference was about.

“After reading countless versions of the bible, Hindu and Buddhist literature and as much religious literature that one could consume, my synopsis is: Love God, Love Yourself, and Do Good then Shut up and go home”. Sylvia Brown

Well I don’t think I have laughed so much in my life and the sound from the audience was just as funny. But she was right and totally set the mood for the rest of my weekend and spiritual education.

5:00PM Friday

I joined my amazing friend and fellow spiritual traveler Alison Prentice, President of a powerful intention company run by her and her life partner Jocelyn, the company, Creo Mundi, A Positive Way of Being, who I am more then ecstatic to tell you has recently been mentioned in Time Magazine. Whoo!! Hooo!!! Do the happy dance!!! But when she picked me up I was feeling so ill and was even debating not finishing the rest of the conference. But if what I had experienced the night before was any prediction of what was to come there was no way in hell I was missing this besides that It was this evening that I was to hear my greatest mentor, previous Oprah guest and great friend to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi and “oh my god he actually married them”. This was none other then the spiritual guru himself Dr. Wayne Dyer . I would have to be struck my lightening to miss this event and strapped to a bed unconscious. But I didn’t, I got my uncooperative belly together, checked into my hotel room and Alison and I headed back to the conference center where I was to briefly meet Dr. Wayne Dyer and then listen to his three hour lecture supporting his movie release Ambition to Meaning starring Portia De Rossi and coming  book release Excuses Be Gone!

His message and the message I want you all to hear, along with the mind blowing scientific and spiritual information that I later learned at a four hour conference with the author currently holding the number five spot on the New York Times Best Sellers list, Gregg Braden , the book Fractal Time

I CAN DO IT! YOU CAN DO IT! WE CAN ALL DO IT TOGETHER!

We can change our thoughts, we can change our lives, and we can get rid of all those road blocking excuses, get out of our own way and start changing our lives, becoming a happier more caring heart centred people and start changing the world one heart, one moment at a time.

If we look at ourselves and the way that humanity is and where we are going, to you it might not look good. But to me and through these spiritual guru’s that I had the most amazing opportunity to meet and hear we are headed for an absolutely amazing and peaceful planet and way of life.

Right now in North America there are millions of Children on antidepressants, why?
Right now in North America over half the population is unhealthy and overweight, why?
Right now there are probably thousands of people on highways across North America in traffic jams, full of rage and anger yelling at people in cars around them, why?
Right now there is someone, somewhere in our world going to sleep, going over and over in their head how horrible this world is, how much they lack and how nothing ever works out for them, why?
Right now there are millions of people in the world making excuses for why they can’t accomplish what it is that their hearts are telling them they want to do, why?

There are really no valid excuses…

Imagine a world with no excuses. Imagine what your life would look like if you took away every excuse you have ever listened to or given yourself. Imagine the freedom, imagine the peace! Become a person who can’t think of excuses and one who can only think of reasons why what ever it is your thinking about you can accomplish!

You would be free!

Ask yourself these questions my friends! Do you know the answers? If not I can help. Open your hearts and minds and I can introduce you to a world of Yes We Cans! I can guide you to a world of peace, love and happiness! And I will show you how that world starts and is create by you! Your thoughts, your hearts and your world!

YES! YOU HAVE THE ANSWERS! YOU ALWAYS HAVE!! STOP LOOKING FOR AN OUTTER SOURCE BECAUSE MY FRIENDS THE ANSWERS YOU NEED ARE ALL WITHIN!

There is a great book called The Secret, which I think is an amazing stepping stone or synopsis to a greater answer. It tells us that to get what we want, to be rich, happy or at peace what we have to do is to think about it and tell the Universe or God what it is we want. But I can say what I want 100 times a day 365 days a year and things are not going to magically appear.

You already have to tools to get what you want in life! You were born with them. The first 9 months of your life you were manifested into a human being, and given everything that you needed to survive in this life. All this without effort or the interference of others. You were given eyes to see, ears to hear and legs to walk, and most important of all you were given a heart which is the source of all life. The greatest source of energy you could have ever been given, and we are to follow that, your heart which beats on its own with no help from you and which always knows what is best because my friends your heart is guided by the eternal energy source, Universe, God or what ever name you chose for the creator of all things.

You can chose to listen, to connect with or ignore this God given gift as long as you like. You can be guided by monetary gain, material things, your friends, your parents, your teachers or your boss but you were already given the biggest and most useful gift that you will ever have and that is your heart. Connect with it and let it be your guide and it will guide you wherever it is that you need to be to accomplish your inner peace, Dharma or life’s purpose!

I learned so much valuable information about life, love, spirituality, wellness and  peace this weekend and I would love to sit down with everyone of you, or write it all down right now but I would be here for an eternity, which I wouldn’t mind spending with you if I had it, LOL! But what I would like each and every one of you to do is to start searching, start connecting with your heart and truly being guided the way you were intended to be.

The reason that I listed the web sources above, beside the mentioned names and companies, is because I want you to start your journey to your own personal Dharma, peace or purpose on Earth. I want to pass along all the information, guidance and energy that I have received to you. I want you all to start hearing what I have heard, feeling what I have felt, knowing what I know and I want us to join together as the human race to start following our hearts and together one person, one heart, one moment at a time creating an everlasting loving energy that heals our world.

We were given everything we needed to survive in our world by our creator, start using it and unleash the beautiful power of the heart!
