Hot Pink Shorts: The Making Of
World premiere of a new series on OUTtv - it's a behind-the-scenes look at the filmmaking process, through a queer lens.

Hot Pink Shorts

A film festival featuring the best shorts from around the world. This season's new hosts are Dianna David and Jonny Staub!

about Jonny

Jonny is Vancouver's first OUT radio personality with his own top rated Midday show. He has also worked in Television, as a fill in host at CITY TV's Breakfast Television Edmonton, Shaw TV Edmonton and of course OUTtv where he's the new host of Hot Pink Shorts. He also appeared as the co-host in the Let's Talk Sex show with Dr. Pegga Ren. Jonny started his career as a traffic reporter in Kitchener, Ontario after attending Conestoga College's Radio/Television program. After 3 months, he was soon promoted to Weekends and Overnights. After spending some time working his skills in the smaller markets, he eventually worked his way up to big Edmonton and Vancouver stations. He currently works at the Beat 94.5 fm.

about Dianna

Dianna is a former mechanical engineer turn professional entertainer. What started out as mimicking Michael Jackson at the age of 6 turned into a full-time passion. Dianna wanted to explore her natural talents in movement by fusing it with her love to be silly and play, hence entering the world of clowning. She studied at San Francisco's Clown Conservatory, The School of Physical Theatre in London, England, and New York International Clown Festival's intensive workshops. Her four year old, full-time performing arts career has taken her throughout Canada performing her children's show in the Fringe Festivals, to the Philippines teaching and performing for locals and under privileged children and to Australia performing improv with David C. Jones.
