Hot Pink Shorts: The Making Of
World premiere of a new series on OUTtv - it's a behind-the-scenes look at the filmmaking process, through a queer lens.
Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising is a hot new reality series which follows Curb Records recording artists Jacob and Joshua Miller, identical twin brothers from Montana in the United States, who make up the pop/rock group "Nemesis." Although they’re twins, Jacob & Joshua could not be more different. Joshua is a free spirit, a party boy and exceedingly single, while Jacob is focused, driven and involved in a long-term relationship. As singers the duo harmonise perfectly, with Jacob leaning more toward pop and Joshua a little more toward rock n’ roll.
Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising chronicles the twins’ lives as they attempt to not only make it in the cut-throat music industry but, at the same time, come out publicly as gay. After uprooting themselves from their country home in Montana to move to Los Angeles, the twins find themselves at a critical crossroads, both professionally and personally. They need a hit record or they face being dropped from their label. Breaking new ground in the pop music world, the twins will be marketed as openly gay artists, meaning they have no choice but to come out to their family, friends and fans.
Confronting their family is particularly difficult. Raised as Jehovah’s Witnesses, the decision to come out would mean the church will instruct their parents never to speak with the boys again. The tension between the twins is evident. While Jacob is extremely confident about this decision; Joshua hesitates, considering the potential damaging affects on their career, and the potential devastating loss of their family. In the end, both are united in their determination to rise up above the rest and make it.
Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising offers a fascinating insight as two young men try to make it in the music industry, while proving that living a dream and being true to ones self are not mutually exclusive.

Jacob and Joshua are twin brothers who were raised in Montana as Jehovah Witnesses, and happen to be gay. As the rock/pop group Nemesis, they deal with their record company and manager, who want them to be open about their sexuality, resulting in tension between the brothers.
Episode Two - Coming Out In Montana
Jacob & Joshua return to Montana to "come out" to their parents. Will Joshua overcome his nervousness and actually tell his parents, or will he make Jacob do it for him? Joshua questions Jacob's decision to invite his boyfriend, Nick, to meet the parents.
Episode Three - Montana & Relationships
After coming out to their family, the twin's parents start to digest the news. Jacob and Joshua discuss relationships while fly-fishing with their Dad and hang out with Jacob's ex-girlfriend. Will Jacob introduce his boyfriend to his religious family? Joshua has an emotional breakdown as they drive to the airport. Back in Los Angeles, Joshua lives the single life, while Jacob surprises Nick with a special anniversary present.

The twins also visit Nick's family and Joshua's first boyfriend.
Episode Five - Media Blitz
Now that the record label is behind Nemesis, the twins go before the cameras to shoot their first music video and album cover. Episode Six - Barry and Vegas
Jacob & Joshua find out that legendary performer, Barry Manilow, will produce one of their songs in a Las Vegas recording studio. Less than thrilled with the song selection, will their attitude ruin the performance? Instead of focusing on rehearsals, the twins explore Vegas and its gay nightlife. Will they be prepared for their recording session with Barry?
Episode Seven - HRC, TRL, and Beyond
As their apartment lease expires, Jacob & Joshua realize their place is too small for the three of them. The twins perform at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner in Washington, DC, and appear on MTV's "Total Request Live."
