SEASON 1


EPISODE 1 - PARIS

Marc and Gabriel take on the city of light as they weave their way through the labyrinth of chic and cool that is gay Paris.


EPISODE 2 - AMSTERDAM

There is no doubt that the ultra liberal Amsterdam remains one of the most historically important gay cities on the planet. Marc and Gabriel try to find out how gay culture is evolving in the Netherlands major destination.


EPISODE 3 - MIAMI

Kate and Gabriel migrate south to South Beach and USA gay Mecca, Miami. Gabriel seeks out Miami style and quickly realises that this is the ultimate "less is more" clothing destination.


EPISODE 4 - STOCKHOLM

Two things should make any gay traveller to Stockholm feel very comfortable: Firstly Sweden has enshrined some of the world's most pro-gay legislation and social policy and secondly Stockholm is the home town of ABBA. Gabriel is all over the capital in his quest to capture the essence of queer Stockholm.


EPISODE 5 - MELBOURNE

OK Melbourne is not as fabulous as its big gay sister Sydney, but it is the undisputed Aussie capital of fashion, arts and sport. Adding to that a cultural sensibility that is more European than any other Australian city and there is no wonder many homos prefer the graceful charms of Melbourne to the hectic hedonism of the Harbour City.


EPISODE 6 - LOS ANGELES

What's it like to be gay in LA? Is everyone in LA in the entertainment industry? And is there a "Velvet Mafia" that rules Hollywood? Marc and Gabriel meet a collection of locals on location around LA to try and get a feel for the world entertainment capitals queer credentials.


EPISODE 7 - MYKONOS

The ancient Greeks may be credited with inventing homosexuality, but Marc is amazed to find modern Greece is still a very closeted and conservative country. Marc sails the exquisite Aegean to the headquarters of hedonism, Mykonos, to find out that being "Out, Proud & Greek" is still a big statement. As for the boatloads of gay tourists, they are out, proud and over the top!


EPISODE 8 - BERLIN

Once one of the world's leading gay & lesbian cities Berlin's queer culture was all but destroyed by successive World Wars and the horrors of the Nazi regime. Now after re-unification Berlin is again the German hub of all things liberal and tolerant. Marc and Gabriel meet a variety of Berliners to establish just what "die szene" is for queers in the German political and cultural capital.


EPISODE 9 - SAN FRANCISCO

The Golden Gate City was at the epicentre of the global civil rights movement and remains one of the most politically active and extreme cities within an increasingly conservative America.


EPISODE 10 - LONDON

Marc is on Gabriel's home turf as the boys explain that any city with the "Three Queens" Kylie, Madonna & Elizabeth, must be one of the world's gay capitals. Gabriel and Marc set out to meet a variety of locals to find out just how cool & queer London is?


EPISODE 11 - NEW YORK

Kate and Marc take a bite out of "The Big Apple" to see if NYC still has its queer crunch!


EPISODE 12 - HONG KONG

Hong Kong, thriving metropolis and melting pot between east and west. They get out and about in the orient's shimmering jewel and discover what life in this neon jungle is like for Hong Kong homos.


EPISODE 13 - SYDNEY

Marc, Gabriel & Kate are all in the one place to try and get to the bottom of why Sydney is regarded as one of the world's top queer capitals. It's not all about stunning scenery, Harbour Bridges and the iconic Opera House (Although it has all that) we also head west to King Street, Newtown and Sydney's lesbian and alternative scene.



SEASON 2


EPISODE 1 - MANCHESTER

Dusting off it's grimy old industrial image, Britain's second largest city steps up and takes it's place as one of Europe's coolest cities. This city is all about reinvention. With it's cutting edge architecture, design and an arts and music scene that is unrivalled, Manchester rocks! Marc and Gabriel head out and find just how queer it is up north in Manchester.


EPISODE 2 - MONTREAL

Montreal has got to be one of North America's most stylish and beautiful cities. Even if it's 20 below, Montreal is super hot. From high above Mont Royal to the cobble stoned streets in the Old Port, This city is all about the joie de vivre. It has the best of both worlds with it's Euopean flair and North American savvy, not to mention it's very sexy French accent. Marc and Kate get out and about Canada's second largest city.


EPISODE 3 - BUENOS AIRES

Will Wikle travels to what is probably the hottest gay travel destination in the world. Fabulous food & wine, a late night Latin lifestyle and an increasingly supportive community and government are helping make Buenos Aires "the" global gay hot spot.


EPISODE 4 - CAIRNS

Will heads to the top of Australia and to Cairns, the gateway to tropical far North Queensland for a taste of one of the planet's most stunning locations. Get ready for colours and vistas like you've never seen them before! From the world's most ancient rainforest to the heritage listed Great Barrier Reef, Will gets a lavish glimpse at queer life in paradise.


EPISODE 5 - ROTTERDAM

An intense rivalry exists between Rotterdam and Amsterdam and Gabriel and Marc find the inhabitants of The Netherlands' second city very eager to claim the creative, business and queer high ground.Virtually destroyed by WWII Rotterdam has rebuilt itself with an ambitious eye on the future and it's own brand of queer culture is modern and individualistic.


EPISODE 6 - TOKYO

Marc Savoia finds a secret, surprising & vibrant gay culture in Tokyo. Tokyo is one of the world's largest cities and not unsurprisingly there is a huge gay community, but until recently it has existed almost in silence as an unspoken subculture. As one Tokyo local said, "How can you expect Japanese gay people to come out when the straight Japanese people are not even out yet". From the bright neon of Shinjuku to subtle nuances of Japanese manners this is a ROUND TRIP TICKET to camp, queer and gay TOKYO.


EPISODE 7 - PORTLAND

Marc Savoia and Kate Monroe head North by Northwest to surprising Portland, Oregon. Just because Portland might be the wettest city in the US, doesn't mean it isn't one of the coolest. Our intrepid two find a booming local arts and alternative lifestyle scene that's made Portland a petri dish for a funky new strand of Queer culture.


EPISODE 8 - DUBLIN

In this episode, Marc Savoia and Gabriel meet the friendly Irish, get a little religious enlightenment and see just how this city has shaken off it's conservative roots to become the all embracing capital of the Emerald Isle.


EPISODE 9 - MEXICO CITY

With its boundless energy and colour, La Capital, is a bewildering mix of the modern and ancient. Will and Kate find out what life is like for the gay people in one of the world largest cities. Just opening up as a gay tourist destination, Mexico City, has a vibrant street and club life that has allowed its gays community to blossom and now bloom!


EPISODE 10 - BANGKOK

Thailand's City of Angels, an explosion of Asian energy, charm and grace! Behind the often seedy nightlife of the Bangkok beast is a gentle and inviting soul. Kate and Marc discover what queer life is like in a culture built on the Buddhist tradition of "live and let live!"


EPISODE 11 - PERTH

Ready for the long haul to the land down under? Well, Will Wikle is as he explores Perth, the gay gateway to Western Australia - a state three times the size of Texas! Will finds out what queer life is like in the outback and in one of the world's most beautiful and isolated towns, Broome


EPISODE 12 - ROME

Heart of the Roman Empire, birthplace of the Renaissance and now one of the world's top gay destinations. Rome certainly is the eternal city! It's the romantic city that inspired "Roman Holiday" and the phrase "La Dolca Vita" and Marc and Will are immersed in the queer culture of the vibrant capital of modern Italy. The boys also find out what it's like to be out and proud in the shadow of the Vatican.
