Brand new 6 Part series following the ups and downs of a Birmingham based lesbian couple as they prepare for their civil partnership.
Meet Jane and Hilli, two lesbians from Birmingham who want to pledge their love to each other in a romantic civil ceremony. With the help of top wedding planners Ant and Dick, the couple start to arrange their nuptials but are hit by a few problems along the way.
Just days before the wedding, the venue arranged by Ant and Dick falls through. Panic sets in at every level, followed by tears and tantrums. Without a venue, the invitations can’t be dispatched and Ant and Dick are summoned to an emergency meeting.
Will the pair ever make it down the aisle?
Luckily for the couple, Birmingham City Council comes to the rescue at the last minute, offering the use of its fantastic Banqueting Suite. With a limited budget, the beaming brides-to-be and their wedding planners Ant and Dick pull out all the stops for a show-stopping ceremony.
